Our mission

Our mission at Ezra is to detect cancer early for everyone in the world. We offer a direct-to-consumer cancer screening service that leverages MRI and Artificial Intelligence to make cancer screening fast, accurate and affordable. We are fully operational in New York with MRI-based single-region cancer screening programs (such as head and neck, abdominal, or pelvic), as well as a full-body program covering 13 organs in women and 11 in men.

We believe in empowering people to make their own health decisions, so we are offering Ezra as a direct-to-consumer health membership. Our members sign up for Ezra, visit a partner imaging center to get an MRI scan, and receive a cancer screening report within 7 business days. Our reports are generated by radiologists assisted by the Ezra AI, which increases accuracy and improves productivity for our radiologists.

Your mission

You will be responsible for providing the best possible clinical care to Ezra patients and ensure every interaction they have with the company is exceptional. You will also influence our clinical workflow, and have an opportunity to participate in research studies we conduct.

As an Ezra Physician, you will:

  • Conduct pre-scan calls with patients to assess their health history, family history of cancer, and answer any clinical questions they may have.
  • Generate physician orders for our patients’ MRI scans, based on the pre-scan calls you hold with them.
  • Review patients’ radiology reports from their Ezra scans and prepare patient reports that translate the radiology results in layman’s terms, and provide actionable next steps.
  • Conduct post-scan calls with patients to communicate their results, and answer any questions they may have.
  • Liaise with specialist physicians whenever an Ezra patient requires follow-up investigations.
  • Conduct clinical research to help expand our cancer screening programs and inform product decisions.
  • Participate in writing research papers led by our AI team, in order to bring a clinical perspective to our efforts.
  • Take an active role in improving our patient experience end-to-end.
